Cloudy Bay Chardonnay is a complex, full-bodied wine with ripe fruit and subtle smoky oak. Cloudy Bay Chardonnay is an intriguing, textural wine with pure fruit flavours of citrus and stone fruits enhanced by a savoury nuttiness and subtle new oak. The Cloudy Bay vineyards are located in the Marlborough region, at the northern end of New Zealand’s South Island. Grown under ideal conditions, the vines produce intensely flavoured fruit with distinctive varietal character. Established in 1985, Cloudy Bay was one of the first five winemakers to venture into Marlborough. Chardonnay, the widespread international aromatic grape variety, has proudly been part of the portfolio since 1986.
