Rose Champagne is also known as Pink Champagne and it is popular for its soft, fruity yet elegant aromas. It is produced by either allowing the clear juice of black grapes soak on its skin for a short period (the saignee method); or by adding a small amount of Pinot Noir red wine to the sparkling cuvee. This results in the production of a pink or peach coloured wine that is consistent and recognisable from year to year.
